Looking into the abyss

The fighting scenes and all the action bits are choreographed to perfection. To a certain extent it's great, but somewhere along the line all the action becomes excessive. The real story of a kidnapped boy was lost in the smoke of explosions and gun powder.

Film critics don't like these. Or they won't admit that they do. The general public doesn't necessarily like them either, but ...
