It's a god-awful small affair

A woman finds a mutilated rotten corpse and the detective of the case takes the witness on a date the very same day. After that things take a weird turn. It's somewhat a French film version of Life On Mars TV series without the laughs, but with plenty of proper thrills and darn fascinating storytelling.
