Classic old school western from 1953, so much so even that it's simple and terribly clichéd, but that's how it goes sometimes, it's not full on guns blazing and bloodshed all the time. A classic battle between good and evil that exemplifies principles and good values. Alan Ladd and Jack Palance as the gungslingers.
