Pissholes in the snow
Don't know whether it was planned and calculated or plain robbery, but it sure as hell ain't coincidental, as Stanley Kubrick took lots of ideas and footnotes from The Boys In Company C (1978) for his own Vietnam piece Full Metal Jacket (1987), including R. Lee Ermey. And not only Kubrick, Oliver Stone (his Platoon) and Ridley Scott (his American Gangster) were out shopping as well. And it amazes me a little because this ain't that good a movie.
