A commune by unwashed idiots

Elle (Isabelle Huppert) is tormented by a stalker rapist, but she is a tough nut to crack because she, after all, has endured the company of serial killer dad, shallow mother and her young hubby, jealous lover, batshit crazy daughter-in-law, religious nutters for neighbours and young assertive co-workers at a game development company. The director Paul Verhoeven knows his love and hate and sex and death.
