Enemies of the state

In the aftermath of WWII, at the height of cold war, the hysteria against communists was the front page news in Hollywood and it divided the tinseltown in two. Several artists (actors, writers, producers et al.) accused of communism stood their ground, so they were blacklisted and subpoenad, and their opinions were fought in the courthouse. Justice system destroyed most of them, but people like screen writer Dalton Trumbo didn't yield an inch and he even ridiculed the shenanigans. Bryan Cranston in a brilliant leading role and the rest of the movie follows suit.
