A young lady woman Kya Clark lives all by herself on a swamp because her bastard father scared the rest of the family away then disappeared himself. Until a body is found. Where the Crawdads Sing, by Olivia Newman, starts out great, quiets down a little too much the rest of the movie, but an intriguing story and enough a gripping drama.
