Time gives character

A family get-together, a wedding, in a beautiful little village in Spain. Despite heavy rain and a power cut, the party after the ceremony is beautiful and joyful. Until one of the guests, Irene, a girl coming all the way from Buenos Aires, Argentina, goes missing. And it's the beginning of a kidnapping thriller. The mom (Penélope Cruz) is distraught, but she and her childhood crush (Javier Bardem) leave no stone unturned finding the girl. Trouble is no-one or everyone, themselves included, is a suspect. Little flawed but a welcome change, thrillers outside Hollywood look somehow much more real.
