God in chains

A man goes to find his sister from a mysterious island inhabited by devout Christian cultists. Thrown in some supernatural horror and we are in for a wicked story. Despite strong The Wicker Man (1973) thing going on, Apostle does well upon its own, a tale that has an eerie, intensively sinister, atmosphere surrounding its being. One of the best horror films of 2018.
