I liked the
Edgar Rice Burroughs books and totally digged the
Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies. Liked the idea on reproducing the Lord of the apes once again, but this is just plain pathetic. Belgian king Leopold wants to shove African diamonds up his ass, so he executes this clever plan to kidnap the hero himself. Everything is gung-ho when the white aristocrats and native tribes and animals either work together or hate each other at the bottom of their hearts. One of the most ridiculous movies I have seen all year.
