Devil's piss shit

The guy (Antti Jokinen) used to make music videos for a living. And his past reflects here. He can't do full lenght features. At least I was well fucking annoyed. Kätilö is a cliched piece of shit, from overly dramatic classical music played everywhere to lukewarm wartime romance and quick - rather useless - loud shots of warfare. Nothing is cohesive, a stupid fucking mess, storytelling is lost in director's mad whims. Like a pompous overlong music video really.
