Silence between the notes
Loved this to death. It's if not weird at least an awkward family get-together with an absolutely stellar cast (from fantastic Robert Duvall to fantastic John Hurt and from fantastic Kevin Bacon to fantastic Ray Stevenson), directed/starred by the fantastic Billy Bob Thorton who has a flair for words and dialogue and sound (cool soundtrack) and jet-black humour. A bloody fine late 60s timepiece.
