In the valley of dry bones

In no less than within a year I've read True Grit novel by Charles Portis, seen True Grit the movie starring John Wayne, and now this. Joel and Ethan Coen's Grit is very loyal to Portis' book and yet they've enriched the story in so many intricate little ways. One of the best and most entertaining movies I've seen this year.
