After the long summer, darkness will fall heavy on the world. The stars will bleed.

These were all new episodes for me, but I watched 'em in the course of two days, I believe. It is a great series. I'm not a super-fan, I am just properly entertained.

Horror and despair

I reckon, Don DeLillo's Cosmopolis is the best novel I've ever read. I quite like David Cronenberg too, he's a cool and controversial cat. But I don't like Robert Pattinson for the sole reason that he can't act and it was unbearable to watch his suffering with these wonderful words and lines. I'm sure the emotionless Mr. Pattinson resited the lines from teleprompter thus looked like a newsreader.

One of them's bending over, two of them are kissing

I started reading Extras: The Illustrated Scripts -book and it compelled me to watch the series as well. Once again, I might add. Started with the first season and for instance the Patrick Stewart scene where he reveals his idea for a movie is probably the best comedy ever delivered anywhere.

Of someone else's dream

A paper-thin sadistic freak living in the European forests is all Mengele on mountaineers, backpackers and half-wit hunters. Amateur Euro trash torture horror in painfully long 77 minutes.

In victory and defeat

Took it from the library even if I had seen it already. Watched it in two days, so I guess it's pretty cool.

Knee deep in blood and thunder

The show on hiatus, this fed the thirst. One of the regulars got his head literally bashed in, so they probably follow suit on the show as well, or they don't.

Waste of good Scotch

Darker and bloodier, with strange loopholes but without the trademark idiocies, this one looked like a proper film.

There is a traitor in this room

It's dated, that's for a fact. I don't care that it got plenty of Oscar nominations and it has cool stars. Those actors didn't perform particularly well, I might add. And the action was clumsy. Aaaaand it was a boring, way too long fucker.

Like smoke through a keyhole

Wasn't as heartfelt and nice as I remembered. Watched it again solely because I contemplated of selling the DVD at a flea market. There it goes.

May cause sexual nightmares

Easily, the funniest of the contemporary sitcoms. There are numerous jokes in each episode and they are delivered amazingly - and they come to you so often and so suddenly that you almost forget to laugh, you just think to yourself how can they be so amazingly good and clever.

Death didn't do what death can

It wasn't fucking bad. I had seen this earlier and remembered some parts. For instance the aircrash bit and all the bizarre deaths were pretty funky.

Mayor Grundy barfed on his wife's tits

Well, goddamn. It was even better than I remembered. What is it, something like 30 years since its release and it doesn't look a day old.

Last days of immolation

Everyone just have to see this one. Wow. They used millions of dollars and came out with this? Probably tried to come up with a shortcut to Shutter Island, but got lost.

The best bad idea

Technically, I think, this was fucking fantastic. I often criticize the Oscar winners, but they'll get the credit this time. The story was a bit biased, I presume, and it lacked some cool shit, but job decent done.

It's a horny world

Engagingly directed serial killer movie the first half and boring drivel the second. George Kennedy and Henry Ford as no-nonsense cops and Tony Curtis miscast as the Strangler.

All this and more

A stand-up comedian struggles to co-parent his autistic son. A simple story, seen many times before, but solid and entertaining little flick...
